I began the Foot Health course whilst continuing full time employment as a school teacher. Having taught in a classroom for thirty-odd years, I was looking for something different and on the basis of visits to my Chiropodist began researching possible avenues of training.
This course fitted in well with my ongoing commitments and allowed me to complete the two weeks clinical training during the summer holidays.
The home study material was interesting and informative with regular assessment feedback invaluable. My enthusiasm continued to develop over the year leaving the final two weeks of clinical study, practical surgery and lectures hone knowledge, develop skills and have them all assessed.
Having attended many courses during my time, this was by far the best.
From the outset, Victor propounds positive thinking and unbridled enthusiasm for his work: ‘you can make it with the right attitude and determination’.
John’s attention to detail and ability to show the practical applications of his excellent knowledge were much appreciated.
Both Victor and John share a wealth of experience on the medical side as well as sound advice for a business venture.
Throughout the fortnight, dedicated professional clinicians are only too willing to ensure thorough training, safety and preparation for life in another arena.
First class instruction, both academically and practically – a credit to all involved.
At the moment, I am aiming to work evenings and weekends to build up a practice and become established.
My only regret? – Why didn’t I do this year’s ago?
