Leading Specialists in Foot Health Care Training Courses
First established in 1996, the role of Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) was created at our college and has been taught here ever since. Everything we do is directly related to all aspects of Foot Health Practice… and nothing else! Foot Health Practitioners do everything a podiatrist might do, right up to the need for local anaesthesia and prescription of drugs. We train to Level 4, the level of understanding needed for safe and effective practice.
Our course is paper-based with three wire-bound books, alongside many full-colour handouts, providing a lasting resource after your qualification. This means that you can study at your own speed and keep all your books for reference after your qualification. You will learn through a series of talks and lectures alongside your theory to practice. Furthermore, our podiatrist has over 35 years of experience and can offer full podiatric support during and following your qualifications. Our support is available throughout your new career and all at no additional charge. When you study with us, help is always available, whether that is by email or over the phone.
Our practitioners work for themselves in private practice, we do not train for the NHS. This means we can deliver our services directly to people with foot problems, often in the comfort of their homes, and without long waiting times. Clients pay our practitioners directly, so there is no time wasted waiting for fees. At the College of Foot Health Practitioners, we have an open-door policy, you can come and see the college and speak to the Principal at any point. Not to mention our ongoing college open days where you can come and meet our staff, students, and tutors.
