
Danielle Hickman, DipCFHP, MPSPract Director & College Manager. 2nd year Podiatry Student.
Danielle has amassed over 18 years of experience in the education sector, during which she has developed a comprehensive understanding of educational practices and policies. Her diverse background includes roles in teaching, management, and student support, allowing her to effectively contribute to various aspects of the learning environment.
Danielle entered the Foot Health industry over seven years ago, where she successfully established and managed a domiciliary practice while simultaneously providing support to the College. Her dual roles allowed her to apply her expertise in a practical setting, enhancing her contributions to both her practice and the educational community.
While managing both responsibilities presented challenges, Danielle recognised an opportunity to focus her energy more effectively. She made the empowering decision to transition from her practice, enabling her to dedicate her full attention and expertise to her role at The College of Foot Health Practitioners. This shift allowed her to concentrate on fostering educational growth and providing exceptional support to students.
Danielle now provides leadership in guiding the college’s mission and strategic direction, while also supporting faculty, staff, and students in attaining their objectives.
She oversees academic programmes and initiatives designed to enhance student learning.
Furthermore, Danielle plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences and outcomes for students.
Danielle’s passion for foot health, coupled with her commitment to learning and development, has inspired her to pursue a BSc Level 6 in Podiatry. Currently, she is midway through her second year of studies, further enhancing her expertise and deepening her understanding of the field.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Danielle values quality time with her family, recognising that strong family connections contribute to overall well-being. This belief informs her compassionate approach in her work, where she aims to enhance her patients’ quality of life, allowing them to enjoy more moments with their loved ones.
