This diploma offers specialized training on the impact of diabetes on blood vessels and the resulting complications for foot health. Participants will gain insights into the mechanisms of vascular damage caused by prolonged high blood glucose levels, which can lead to serious issues such as ulceration and the risk of amputation. The course includes four theory modules, exploring both macrovascular and microvascular complications, and concludes with three essay-style assessments. Successful completion leads to the Diploma in Diabetes (DipDM) and awards 20 CPD points, contributing towards a Fellowship.
